Frenectomy

Before Frenectomy
After Frenectomy
When there is a space between the upper front teeth, a frenectomy may be recommended. A frenectomy will raise the tissue between the two front teeth so that the tissue will not push the front teeth apart. This helps to keep the space closed. A frenectomy is done after braces have closed the space. Dr. Fricke will let you know if a frenectomy is right for you.
